How do I apply for Points?
If Points are available for a Drop and you are eligible, you will see an option to “Apply for Points”.
To claim points, you'll need to choose a specific stream date—usually within the first 72 hours of the campaign going live. Once your date is approved, your points will be reserved until the end of that chosen day.
If you do not begin your stream within that timeframe, the reserved points will be forfeited and returned to the Points Meter. You will no longer be eligible to earn points for that specific campaign.
To improve your chances of getting approved, please fill out the form with why you believe you are a good fit. Including a list of similar titles you have created content for in the past is greatly appreciated!
You must be approved before a stream to earn points.
If you have applied after a stream and gotten approved you will need to stream again for 2 hours.
Where can I find if Points are available?
Every Drop that has points enabled will have the Points logo located at the top of the Drop card. Drops that offer points also include the Points Meter visualization of the points that are available for a given Drop.
As an eligible creator, upon joining the Drop you will have maximum points you can earn. Points will be reserved for X amount of hours (different per Drop), and will be displayed on the application. Once you’re through this, you’ll have points set aside for you for a reservation period. The default reservation period is 72 hours, but may be as low as 24 hours or as high as 120 hours
Am I eligible for Points?
If you are a partnered creator on Twitch and have a 30-day CCV above 50, then yes!
We are aiming to add points as a feature for all creators on Dare Drop regardless of channel size or preferred social platform (Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok) in future iterations.
When you’re on the Drop page and Points are available, you will see an option to “Apply for points”.
How does the application process work?
All applications are reviewed manually.
Each Drop has its own set of requirements and criteria, including similar titles played in the past and region, to determine whether you are a good fit.
Once approved or rejected you will receive an email from Dare Drop.
If you have not received an email, it means your application is still pending and you may be approved if points have been returned to the Points Meter.
How are Points calculated?
Points are rewarded based on the viewership you bring to the Drop in your best 2 hours, with a cap based on your 30 day CCV. When you join a Drop, Dare Drop reserves the maximum points you can earn for you.
What if I failed to stream within my deadline?
If you have failed to stream within your deadline, your points go back into the Points Meter. You will no longer be eligible to earn points for this specific campaign.

Earning Points
Below are answers for a few core questions about the points earning process, make sure you familiarize yourself with the content before applying for points!
How do I earn Points?
Points are earned by streaming the Drop for 2 hours.
Please use the provided link, and share with your chat.
Remember to add #DareDrop in your title.
A Dare MUST be accepted before you stream for our system to register your stream.
Please DO NOT reject the first Dare you accepted, as your stream will no longer register as delivered (and there’s no penalty for incomplete Dares).
Do I need to complete Dares?
No, Dares are optional to complete, yet one must be accepted to be able to earn points.
Is there a deadline? How do I find the deadline?
Every Points Drop has its own deadline.
You can see the deadline when applying for points and under “See Sponsorship Details” after you have been approved.
In order to see the deadline under “See Sponsorship Details” hover over the purple (i) next to “Points Reserved”
How do I know when my points are reserved?
You will receive an email from Dare Drop letting you know that points have been reserved for you and which Drop.
